Finding Bargains and Selling for Fun and Profit With On-line Auctions

Find bargains or sell your own items on eBay and other on-line auctions.   Internet auctions are pretty easy once you know what’s involved.  Learn the equipment you need (hardly any!), how to determine if there is demand for your item, how to price it, and how to avoid beginner’s mistakes when collecting payment and arranging shipping.  You’ll learn to add a photo to your well-written description to get higher bids.  This information-packed class includes a demonstration of how to put together an online ad from start to finish.  This course requires general computer knowledge and Internet experience.   

Your Instructor

Your instructor, Bob Weiss, is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), and provides consulting services for small businesses and residential customers in the areas of computer support and repair, computer networking, network and Internet security, web design and web hosting.

Since 2002 he has taught evening adult education classes in Web Design and Computer Security for the Community Education programs of the Stillwater School District 834.  In 2004, he began teaching at South Washington School District.  in 2005 he began teaching a broad range of computer classes for the Mahtomedi program, including Computer Basics, Internet and E-mail, MS Word Intro and Intermediate, MS Excel Intro, MS Works, and Digital Camera Applications.

Bob has over fifteen years of telecommunications and eight years of data communications experience with companies like LCI International, USWest, Teligent, and Qwest Communications.
